Soko Hotels is a family establishment with a true southern charm. The boutique hotel has 20 renovated, air-conditioned rooms with modern comforts. The common areas are refurbished with elegance and simplicity, an ode to the history of the building.
Not far from the hotel is the Pont du Gard, a renowned historic monument. The bridge, on three levels, intended for the passage of a Roman aqueduct, merits its fame to its exceptional architecture.

The Soko Hotels spirit is all about family and we are delighted to provide the ingredients for the perfect family holiday: adapted meals, family rooms, a welcoming garden, swimming pool, and a multitude of activities for the young.
In 1840, the Pont du Gard was registered as a Historic Monument, and it earned its title as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. The renowned hiking trails GR6 and GR63 traverse the monument which stands above the Gardon river.
The aqueduct is a majestic beauty that has inspired the finest writers of French literature: from Rousseau to Mérimée and Stendhal or Dumas.
The building was a former mansion with elegant Italian architecture. It was built in 1905 for a bourgeois Gard family ; jewelers from Nîmes seduced by the picturesque charm of Remoulins.
In the 1950s the property was transformed into a restaurant and the rooms were created on the first floor. In the 2000s the hotel underwent a restructuring to better adapt to the needs of its customers.
There’s no set schedule here. But if you’re looking for a little inspiration…
Start the day with breakfast in the garden: local produce, homemade treats and eggs cooked to order, just the way you like them. There’s no need to rush—you’re on holiday, after all.
Walk to the Pont du Gard or discover it from the Gardon by renting a kayak from our partner, Pura Vida. Explore Uzès, Nîmes or Avignon, hire a bike and follow the Voie Verte… You decide how far you feel like going.
Find a sun lounger, dive into the pool and let the cicadas take care of the soundtrack. Order something delicious from our snacking menu, open a bottle of local wine… and whatever you do, don’t check the time.
End the day with an Italian dinner, a glass of wine… and probably a tiramisu.
